Medicare Prescription Drug Coverage (Medicare Part D)

Medicare helps pay for certain prescription drugs. Not all prescription drugs are covered, and you will have to pay premiums and co-payments. People who have Medicare Part A or Part B are eligible for Medicare drug coverage (Medicare Part D). Medicare Advantage Plans also cover medications. In Connecticut, people who meet certain income guidelines may be eligible for the Medicare Savings Program, which covers the Medicare Part B premiums and in some cases Medicare deductibles and co-pays.

Learn more. Please visit the Medicare website for information on Medicare Part D, information on Medicare Advantage Plans, or for information on the Medicare Savings Program.
