This low-cost transportation service consists of specially equipped vans for individuals aged 60 and over and individuals with disabilities who are not able to access public transportation. Allowable trip purposes, listed in priority order, include: medical; food/nutrition; senior center activities; religious activities; and personal trips. Most Connecticut towns operate Dial-a-Ride programs.
