My Place CT launched a consumer outreach campaign to help the public learn how they can connect to living independently in the community. The goal is to make people aware they have choices of how and where they live. The campaign promotes My Place CT as Connecticut’s trusted information source for the resources they need.
The My Place CT outreach program includes:
TheMyPlaceCT.orgwebsite – Connecticut’s newly revamped information hub helps consumers and families access information and resources to live successfully in the community. It now offers simpler, more intuitive ways to find, filter and save relevant information on services and programs.
Phone help via 2-1-1 Infoline – United Way 2-1-1 includes both phone and live chat to answer questions about resources and where to find them.
Live help via My Place CT Partner network – When people need one-on-one help navigating their way to services and information, Partners are a key source of local, live assistance.
Consumer education and outreach campaign – This statewide campaign delivers the My Place CT message via TV, radio, billboards, newspapers, online ads on Facebook, AARP and Google and even on hand sanitizers in Rite Aid pharmacies.
Facebook – My Place CT started a Facebook page @MyPlaceCT as a way for people to connect and share. You’re invited to join the conversation early and often.
The campaign leads people to the new MyPlaceCT.org website, to 2-1-1 and to My Place CT Partners for more information. Watch for it online, on the radio, on TV or on a billboard near you.
