Thirteen Elderly Nutrition Projects across Connecticut deliver nutritionally balanced meals to homebound older adults, aged 60 and over, and their spouses. Adults that are isolated and unable to go to a Senior Community Café are also eligible. In addition, meals can be provided to people with disabilities living in senior housing that has a Senior Café. Often evening and/or weekend meals are served. Special preference is given to those with the greatest economic and social needs.
